Hello !

We are pleased to announce that a new build has been uploaded ! With a new build comes a new patch note, addressing issues that have been reported thanks to your testing! A big thank you to all of you! If you are a newcomer, please join us on our Discord and say hi ! Link in the last build available !

Feel free to report any bugs in the  forum during your playtests! We also value your feedback, whether you loved or didn't love the game, understood or didn't understand, or if you have ideas for changes or improvements! Your input helps shape the gaming experience, so don't hesitate to share your thoughts!

 DECKBUILDING

We announced it in the last patch note, and here it is! We've reworked our deckbuilding system. The initial components are now available, and we're eager to hear your feedback on this! You will now have a real deck construction phase with all the cards you've unlocked (take advantage of it for now; everything is available to allow us to gather feedback on as many creatures and spells as possible 😉). We focused on improving card visibility, and we'll continue to enhance it to help you better understand and master each of your actions.

Numerous improvements are planned for the next build, but that will be the subject of a new post! Here are some changes you can expect:

  • Each creature now has a new effect when summoned, providing an incentive to summon a card individually without going through blending and offering you a new tool for your strategy!
  • Each Loa will now have a passive bonus when selected during the deck creation. New synergies are now available to you!
  • Your progression in the Archipelago will become easier as each captured building becomes a new drop zone for your creatures! Allowing you to bring reinforcements where needed much more quickly!
  • To further improve readability, we're preparing a neat "hover" system to explain the keywords of our cards more simply.

Additionally, we took the opportunity to overhaul the functioning of our Blending. When you use a creature for blending, the card will be locked away from your playing hand. All the blending logic that was on the left side of the screen is now on this card.

We also took this opportunity to add important information during your blending, the summoning time for each creature based on its cooking time.

Tutorial We have improved the tutorial, adding steps that explain the V2 of the DeckBuilding while making it more enjoyable for you to read. Feel free to give us feedback on this new version if you think there are any gaps or texts that are not clear enough!

Vilokan Guardian

You might have caught a glimpse of it, but when your Mawa drops to 0, you trigger an event that summons an exceptionally powerful being. Until now, we had a placeholder, but this time, here it is, and it's not here to make jokes!

Discord!

We want our Discord to become more lively as our games grow, and as more and more of you join us! So, we thought it was about time that we had something to properly enhance our server! You'll find new emotes related to Inu: Loas’Fate, and we've animated our server logo! We hope you'll enjoy these new emotes as much as we do! Just a friendly reminder, if you are not on our discord to chat with us, i’ll send the Guardian O_O



Patch Note V0.3.9

General

We've added the last two creatures from Marinette! Welcome Jé’Rouge and Dam Lougawou. Feel free to test them out and provide us with your feedback!

  • Vengeful and passionate spirits, Marinette's Jé'Rouges pursue their enemies to the far reaches of Vilokan. Powerful and swift creatures capable of weakening their adversaries but with a low defensive potential.
  • The Dam Lougawou are vengeful spirits stealing the life of Marinette's opponents. They delight in their mawas... slowly... A large, slow, and robust creature that weakens and passively attacks all enemy creatures around it. It feeds on the death of these enemies.

Vilokan Guardian

A new 3D model has been created for the Vilokan Guardian; it should make it much clearer that he's not here to toss salads!

 VFX & Animation

  • The demo messengers have finished their aerobics session and are no longer in a T-pose; they can now cheer you on in your run!
  • The Ti’Dyab will finally make you feel their power! Their VFX is finally fixed!
  • Same goes for the Pinailleur; its special ability has regained its VFX!
  • A new animation is introduced for the main menu!
  • A bunch of new animations are introduced for the tutorial!
  • Many animations have been improved/fixed.

 Bugs

  • Our bridges should no longer allow creatures to jump over and sink into the depths of the bayou!
  • The Guardian, having returned to its original form, is now capable of ending a match.
